I hope you had a very happy Easter — it’s a time of hope and new beginnings. For many, Easter is filled with rabbits, eggs and baskets, but for others it signifies the season of spring, of hope and renewal.  This is something that is felt after experiencing an Akashic Clearing Therapy…..

Here are some further questions you can ask yourself to stay on track….

1 – How am I doing in relation to what I would like to happen this year?

2 – Is it going well?  Can it go better?  If so, what do I need to do (or ‘be’) for that to happen?

3 – Is there something I am doing I need to stop or change?  Something that is taking me away from what I really want or what is really important to me?

4 – Am I clear on what I want?  Am I specific about it (or am I vague and unclear)?

5 – Do I have any conflicts about it?  Am I sure this is absolutely what I want?

6 – If I get it, what does this mean for me and my life?  What is the bigger picture beyond this?

7 – Do I know ‘how’ to bring it about?  If not, where can I go to for answers?

How can I cure insomnia?

In my last blog I explained about “What is clearing” in your Soul Records.  So many of you responded because you did not know about the Akashic Records. Quite a few of you asked whether “clearing” could help insomnia…..

Dear Heather

don’t remember having trouble sleeping – until lately. Small concerns have grown and my sleep has been disrupted. I just sort of drifted into insomnia. And there I have stayed, on and off, for the last few months. It has meant exhausted days and nights stretched out in front of me and when I look in the mirror, I hate those tired, vacant eyes looking back at me. I have tried to remedy it, using pills (soft herbal brands and the hard big pharma types), sprays (rescue remedy), a variety of “calming” music (including nature sounds) and, of course“wishing really hard”.

What can I do now, will clearing my Akashic Records help?



Yes Joanne and anyone else reading this with insomnia – clearing your Akashic Records will definitely help.

One of the most common blocks to the root cause of insomnia is “involvement”.

Get Involved.

Do what you love.

Try something new.

Build your resume.

Make lifelong friends.

Get involved in an emotional or sexual way.

You get to choose the opportunities that will change your life.

Carve Out Some Time For Yourself. Every day carve out some time for yourself and do something that brings you joy. …

Give Yourself Recognition. …

Cultivate Your Inner Advocate. …

Forgive Yourself. …

Take Good Care of Yourself. …

Respect Yourself. …

Treat Yourself. …

Soothe Yourself.


Here are some helpful tips regarding getting a good nights sleep… 

  1. Recognise that “sleep is not a lifestyle choice, it is a biological inevitability. It is very, very powerful, and we need to get it working for us. Sleep is a process of letting go.

    Make an intention to have a relaxed, confident approach to sleep, not a neurotic, panic-stricken one.

    A lot of people put good sleep beyond the achievable simply because they are so worried about not sleeping. Take time before bed to go through the day, think about tomorrow and write down a list of stuff on your mind.  This will set your mind at rest.


  • A dark room is important to a good sleep. Avoid “blue light” less than two hours before bed e.g. laptop, tablet and smartphone screens. Bedrooms should be a comfortable temperature (around 18C), quiet and well-ventilated, with comfortable beds and pillows.  Spraying lavender onto your pillow is relaxing too.


  • Anything that stimulates the system – such as caffeine (although some experimental studies show a cup of coffee may lengthen the time taken to drop off by just three minutes), alcohol, chocolate, tobacco, a heavy meal or strenuous exercise – will make it harder to get to sleep. Avoid indigestible foods.


  • Carbohydrates can promote serotonin, which aids sleep. Drink Camomile Tea and eat regularly throughout the day including organic fruits and vegetables.  Stop eating after 8pm.  Exercise for twenty minutes during the day, not late evening.
  •  Save sleep for bedtime.  But if you feel so exhausted, have a catnap.


Learn to value relaxation, and if necessary learn specific relaxation techniques, such as in the above video.

Above all, “Don’t try too hard.”

What does “clearing” mean?

So many of you have asked me what does “clearing” mean.

Let me tell you….

All of us have a record of our soul’s journey from the time you first arose from Source until you eventually return home.  This can take millennia.  But no matter how new or ancient your Soul, the Akashic energy holds all your thoughts, feelings, actions and deeds from each lifetime.  Many people imagine the Akashic Record as a library with each book representing a lifetime.  Some people look at the Records as a computer with all your info stored in the hard drive.

The truth is, the Akashic Field is part of and connected to the All; in everyone and everything.

You have your own Masters, Teachers and Beings of Light that keep track of this information, just for you.


We can access the higher energies which I call your Higher Self and they will answer questions about this life and the past lives which are affecting you today. When you realise that you came into life with a plan, it becomes very useful to access information about that plan. We come to complete some Karma.  We fulfil our past life Vows or we come to be with someone special and to support people who are part of our soul family.

The human challenge is that as soon as we’re born we forget this plan. At times in our life we feel blocked or constricted or disappointed in our life because we don’t remember why we chose our families or situations. We may feel life is unfair or very difficult.

I access the Akashic Records to help you learn information about these situations and to heal and clear the emotional pain. You can ask questions in relation to: health, career, relationships, life purpose, self-esteem and abundance.

So, negative energy such as Doubt, Sexual Abuse, Terror, Helplessness, Injustice, Illness, Jealousy, Moody, Low Self Esteem etc. can be “cleared” in your Akashic Records and put into what I call “dead files”. Blocks to Understanding, Hope, Involvement, Joy, Courage, Determination, Tact, Success, Abundance etc. can also be “cleared”.


You might experience some of these limitations in the following ways:

  • Feel you’re carrying too much baggage? Sometimes this looks like extra weight.

  • Are you stuck in a rut? Maybe you hate your job but can’t seem to change.

  • Feeling spaced out and tired? Too many people in your space, holding you back.

What you can do if you were raised by a narcissistic mum

I am blessed to still have my Mum, at the grand age of 92, but I am very mindful that many of you reading this may have not have your mum’s any more.  Or indeed may not have a positive relationship with them.  I have been working with clients lately who have had issues that they didn’t connect consciously, with their Mum initially, but who (after research) was the core root of their “stuff”,causing negative feelings like shame, sadness, guilt and anger, resulting in a block to success and abundance in their life.

In my work there is no judgement.  Just conscious understanding and learning tools to deal with life.

They had experience of a narcissistic mum and perhaps you have had this experience too.

Typically this means, a narcissistic mum is exclusively and possessively close to their children and may be especially envious of, and threatened by, their child’s growing independence. An abusive, narcissistic mother sets up her daughters and sons for inevitable danger due to the nature of her disorder. Her insatiable need for control, excessive sense of entitlement, stunning lack of empathy, tendency towards interpersonal exploitation and constant need for attention overrides the welfare of her children (McBride, 2013).

If you have had a narcissistic mum, here are some tips:-

  • First, you have to grieve the loss of the parent you never had. Really grieve the fact that you didn’t get the parent you needed, the one who put you and your needs first. Part of that requires releasing the fantasy that your narcissistic parent can change and eventually give you what you need. They can evolve and grow, but they may never evolve enough to meet your deepest needs. Therefore, managing expectations is key, particularly when you see glimpses of the healthy parent you wish you had had, but in fact those glimpses are often not sustainable. Accept that your parent was limited—and could not give you unconditional love or even deep empathy because she could not get past herself to truly see you. Allow yourself to feel your feelings, the anger and the sadness. Emotion has the word motion in it; allow your emotions to move through you. You might not have lost your parent to death, but you lost what could have been—you lost an opportunity to be truly mothered—and that is really a profound loss. Accepting this, rather than denying it, is the first step in opening your heart to healing.
  • You are going to need to discover boundaries—where you begin and your parents end—to free your authentic self. When you choose who you want to be, rather than who your parents wanted you to be, you break free from their narcissistic grip. Tolerate their discomfort, even if they make a lot of noise. You are not misbehaving, rebelling, or rejecting them. You are being you, the real you—maybe for the first time. This is the first part of breaking the cycle. Next, you don’t want to repeat/generalise the relationship that you had with your narcissistic parent to your co-workers, partner, or friends. Realise where you are meeting the needs of other narcissists in your life, real or imagined.


  • Sometimes children of narcissists assume that every person they’re close to will need the same kind of hyper-attention and appeasement that their parent did—and unconsciously begin doing mental back bends to please others. At times you may be tapping into the expectations of a narcissistic partner, and unconsciously playing that familiar role. At other times you may be making erroneous assumptions about what someone important to you really needs—perhaps they don’t want you to mirror their opinions or they don’t need you to sugarcoat your real feelings or soften constructive criticism. Breathe, pause, give yourself some space.  Try just being honest, try not to rush in and take care of their feelings. If being different from your loved one feels uncomfortable—or if you feel you’re risking love with that stance—just notice it. Watch how much stronger your bond is than what you secretly imagined it to be. This is the gift of evolving past the scene of the original crime—your own childhood. Surviving childhood meant taking care of the narcissist and swallowing your feelings. But now as an adult you can begin to surround yourself with people that you feel safe and at home with—like soul mate girl/boy friends—who know and love the real you, and this can be deeply transformative.

Children of narcissistic parents often wonder if they are really loveable. You are! Start loving and caring for yourself in ways that you wished your mum had loved and cared for you. Start paying attention to what really matters to you; what makes you feel alive and moments when you feel authentically you. Maybe you will need help mothering yourself. Let’s celebrate the real you. And once you have learned to mother yourself, you will be able to ‘mother’ your children.

Your journey is to love your children for their true, glorious, separate, authentic selves—and to give them what you may have not gotten enough of. It will not only be beneficial to them, it can be quite healing for you. You will grow and evolve enough to ask yourself, in difficult situations:

“Is my reaction more about my child’s feelings or my own?

What does he or she need right now?”

This will prevent you from reacting with anger or withdrawing love, as your parent may have done to you. You are now a cycle breaker.

Conscious, mindful parenting is the ultimate in damage control. When you get your ego out of the game, you can step back enough to see the soul of your children. Just nurture that, and watch them soar.

How to identify limiting beliefs

Have you caught yourself saying, ‘This is true because…’

For Example:

  • I can’t do any public speaking because I sound like a 12-year old (or because I have a stutter).
  • I’ll never be successful in a business because my parents weren’t successful.
  • I can never start a business now because of Brexit.

Many people have this idea about wealth and the ceiling they can reach. Some common beliefs around wealth are:

  • I can never be wealthy because I don’t know how to have so much money.
  • I can’t be wealthy because others will depend on me.
  • I can’t be wealthy because I don’t deserve it.

As human beings, we don’t know how to be. All we know how to do is think, think, think and make meaning about anything or find meaning in things that happen.

Have you gone to party and someone happens to look at you differently? Did you try to make meaning out of that? Why did she look at me that way?

The meanings that we put on these types of beliefs will guide your behaviour.

For Example:

  • I’m a woman that means I’ll never be able to lead. This can have several meanings: it’s difficult to climb the ladder if you’re woman OR women make poor leaders.
  • Too much wealth makes people behave differently. This can have several meanings: being rich means you lose friends OR if you become wealthy you’ll change.
  • Change is very challenging. This can have several layers of meaning associated with it.

Here there are two categories:

  1. The outcome is possible for you: If the outcomes is possible, then you’ll go for it and you’ll get the desired outcome. Some questions you ask yourself to get permission from your subconscious, “Do I have what it takes? Can I do it?”
  2. The outcome is impossible for you: If the outcome is impossible, then you’ll not even bother trying to go for it. In fact, you’ll just give up ahead of time.

For Example:

  • I’ll never get a promotion.
  • I’ve had very little success in meeting a partner.
  • Cooking is not for me, I mess it up all the time.
  • I’ve tried it all, nothing works.

These beliefs revolve around your worthiness. Do I deserve this? These beliefs usually start with ‘I am’ or have words that make the statement very personal.

For Example:

  • I’m not worth it.
  • I don’t deserve this.
  • I am not smart enough to be successful.
  • I don’t have it in me to be resilient.

When we work together, we identity your limiting beliefs, understand what you gain by holding on to this limiting belief, ask if it’s true and then remove them from your Akashic Records, (It’s like cleaning the hard drive of your computer!).

We then identify your new empowering beliefs and discuss what you can do differently, what new behaviour you’ll have and affirm it.

International Women’s Day

Apologies in the delay of sending you this blog.  My colleague, Lisa Michaels and I have been very busy behind the scenes creating a new 6-week “How To Ignite The Power Of Your Intuitive Mind” program (launching at the end of March in The Hunch Club) and attending the “International Women’s Day Conference” in Marbella.

It was a couple of months ago that our intuition guided us to attend the International Women’s Day Conference in sunny Spain, so we booked our flights and hotel and off we went, dipping our toes into new territory!

Listening to our inner guidance is letting the universe guide us.  We just need to detach from outcomes and just go with the flow, which is exactly what we did.

We were so happy to meet lovely women #makingithappen in their lives!  It was such an enlightening and inspirational day. Marching forwards with a thrust…..

I’ve great news, it’s March and it’s bringing in a lot of illumination and some heat.

Tomorrow, Wednesday March 6th, revolutionary outer planet Uranus returns to Taurus for the first time in 84 years to shake our physical and security foundations form top to bottom until 2026.  Uranus will deliver a seismic electric shock to both the global System and to your own system. Think of it as a solar geomagnetic storm fritzing your etheric, physical and nervous system – a perfect metaphor for the huge evolutionary stair step we’re about to take. Don’t expect the warp speed to slow any time soon – this is when you’ll feel the rocket thrust away from the deleted past and into the emerging future of the Great Transformation

News travels fast and decisions taken now will have karmic repercussions.  Expect lots of behind the scenes negotiations, deals and fixing and an overall sense of confusion.


March is known for “March winds” and we’ve certainly had gales going on! This is bringing a big surge of speed and energy.  For those of you who have been planning things, building things – putting the pieces together, bringing the form into place – this is going to be a month where you really start to see things heat up, light up and brighten up. There will be a lot of magic, a lot of flow and a lot of wind behind you, thrusting you forwards!

It can feel deeply uncomfortable when we aren’t sure where we are going and what we are doing  It can bring up all kinds of feelings in your body, such as sadness or emotion – and yet, it’s time to let go of control. We are here to move, we are here to let go  and release during this March energy. So for those of you who aren’t feeling positive or aren’t really sure of what you’re doing or where you’re going, then release will be what you can do by clearing your Akashic Records..

And I can guide you to treat yourself with love, kindness and understanding, much the way that you would treat a patient in hospital recovering from an operation. So remember to give yourself more nurturing support and space in your life to breathe through the release that wants to come up and out.

This is important because when you’re moving through inner emotional or energetic aspects – they’re not visible to other people. But they are to you, so you have to take care of yourself while that process is happening. You need to build in time or moments of peace for yourself so that you can survive riding the waves of what you’re going through.

Sensitive, empathic people can tend to get lost in the wants, needs and desires of others and FORGET THEMSELVES.  This is very important for this part of the soul journey, because empaths and sensitives have great gifts to bring into their life and the lives of others.  But if you only or mostly get waylaid by the needs, desires and wants of others, then you don’t get to drive your own soul experience too.  This lesson is going to be something being experienced and learnt by a lot of people right now.

If you had an emotional response to what you’ve just read – you are in the right place and are ready to release any responsibility to others before responsibility to self.  They have to go hand in hand.  You have to be responsible for yourself in order to also be responsible for others.  It’s a huge shift and it’s happening right now.

It’s all about Intention

How are you doing this week?  If you thought last week was rough you’re not alone.  It was tough and we had a lot of karmic endings arise for us which is both an important part of our ascension cycle and our lifetime now.  We are here to end our karmic ties, contracts, obligations and commitments.  And we’re getting the opportunity to do that now.  It isn’t easy, but it is necessary and we only have to do this once – whereas we repeat karma over and over and over again.

We just had another powerful supermoon. Under February’s full moon in Virgo, the Virgos are going to feel their ambition kick into overdrive and the rest of us are going to feel a lot more productive energy than we’re used to. And unless we all prepare ourselves equally for the change in energy, we might find ourselves feeling overwhelmed beyond function.

If you can anticipate the wave of Virgo energy, you can ride it for all its worth and get things done. Virgo inspires organisational ability, project management and mental endurance, so pick a project that could really take off and have it ready to go for the full moon. Because you’re not used to this kind of intense energy, you might waste it if you don’t harness it. Don’t let it knock you over, grab it and use it to your advantage. This is a great opportunity to get a burst of work done! It’s so important for us to learn how to  manage our energy as we set strong intentions for how we want energy to flow in our reality.

Have you ever had your heart broken, been disappointed or felt rejected by someone?  I certainly have and had to gain the self-understanding that the problem is not that I wasn’t worthy of that situation or person, but that there was no alignment between them and the outcomes I wanted to create with my intention.


Energies between people and within relationships do change over time and we need to be aware of those changes and make appropriate course corrections.  To do this we must set strong intentions and then manage our assumptions and the expectations that arise from them.

While we assume every relationship is supposed to last forever – and I certainly believed that about my relationship, because my parents had been married forever –  many of us – including me – are learning opportunities that teach us lessons in choosing, alignment, empowerment, discernment and letting go.

When we set expectations, we pull the energy ahead of its potential and then attempt to hold everything together while we try to make everything fit and work.  We are trying to create congruence and harmony by making the energy fit instead of allowing TRUST and FAITH to guide the energy to fit.

We need to set strong intentions for the love (or anything else) we want and then let the energy flow to and through our intention.

Some parts of our outcome may be disappointing because what we thought would work out one way doesn’t.

Other parts may surprise us when we manifest something we thought would never happen!


So the key here is to set an intention and then let go and allow the energy to flow…. allowing trust and faith to guide the energy to fit…. 

  • Most of the time our mind is caught up in thoughts, emotions, and memories. Beyond this noisy internal dialogue is a state of pure awareness that is sometimes referred to as “the gap.” One of the most effective tools we have for entering the gap is meditation. Meditation takes you beyond the ego-mind into the silence and stillness of pure consciousness. This is the ideal state in which to plant your seeds of intention.  CLICK HERE TO LEARN HOW TO MEDITATE WITH ME 


  • Once you’re established in a state of restful awareness, release your intentions and desires. The best time to plant your intentions is during the period after meditation, while your awareness remains centred in the quiet field of all possibilities. After you set an intention, let it go—simply stop thinking about it. Continue this process for a few minutes after your meditation period each day.


  • Intention is much more powerful when it comes from a place of contentment than if it arises from a sense of lack or need. Stay centred and refuse to be influenced by other people’s doubts or criticisms. Your higher self knows that everything is all right and will be all right, even without knowing the timing or the details of what will happen.

  • Relinquish your rigid attachment to a specific result and live in the wisdom of uncertainty. Attachment is based on fear and insecurity, while detachment is based on the unquestioning belief in the power of your true Self. Intend for everything to work out as it should, then let go and allow opportunities and openings to come your way.

  • Your focused intentions set the infinite organising power of the universe in motion. Trust that infinite organising power to orchestrate the complete fulfilment of your desires. Don’t listen to the voice that says that you have to be in charge, that obsessive vigilance is the only way to get anything done. The outcome that you try so hard to force may not be as good for you as the one that comes naturally. Welcome to February!

After last week’s blog, I trust that you have been carving out time for yourself, to prevent overwhelm. I certainly have and enjoyed spending time by myself walking my dog Angel. She loves to sit next to me when I’m working in my Energy Studio.

This month we are exploring blocks to love because so many of you tell me that you feel that you’re not ‘built for love’.

As if the kind of man or relationship you want isn’t possible for you – because you’re simply not capable of it.

Fear that there’s something deeply wrong with us is what keeps so many of us women from attracting and connecting to a good man who will love us – forever.

I’m here to assure you that you ARE capable – you’re more than capable. You CAN have a relationship that meets and exceeds your wildest expectations. You just need to learn a few key things to help get you there.

It’s like running a marathon. If you don’t do the training, you’re going to get very hurt and give up. You’re going to think you can’t do it. But you CAN. It’s the same with dating and relationships.

Have you ever heard of “muscle memory?”

It’s what happens to your muscles over time when you repeat a certain movement – your body starts doing the movement AUTOMATICALLY.

Like when you’re learning to ride a bicycle: At first, you have to really THINK about every aspect of what you’re doing – pedalling, sitting up, keeping your hands on the handle bars, etc

After a while and lots of practice, you just get up on your bike and go. It’s a smooth ride.

There’s hardly any THINKING. You do need to be aware of what’s around you, but you don’t have to be putting thought into how to actually ride the bike. You just ENJOY the ride.

And your HEART CHAKRA may be “blocked” due to past hurts or negative experiences, which may have led to preventing your love connection.

I will guide you to just get to FEEL your feelings and bring your man closer as a result.

That’s because, like muscle memory, learning to say I FEEL trains you to stop all the OVER-THINKING that can keep us from connecting to a man on a deep level.

Because you simply can’t connect with a man when you’re in your head – it can only happen when you’re coming from the HEART.

My next weekend retreat is in GLASTONBURY on Friday 22 March (2 nights) until Sunday 24th March, at Apple Fairy Bed and Breakfast.  

In this fun weekend, we will include a half day workshop.  The fairy realms teach us to respect the world that we live in, nature in all of its glory, the animal kingdom and all living things.   Nature provides for us all, humans, insects, and the animal kingdom alike.  It has to be protected in order for there to be harmony and balance on the earth plane.  Fairies are the guardians of the plants, flowers and trees, and every living thing and they can teach us how we can help to preserve and how to bring harmony into our own lives.

Fairies are playful and encourage us to have fun, enjoying all aspects of our lives. 

Anything is possible if we only open our minds to the possibilities and believe.

The workshop runs from 10am – 1pm 

£40 including refreshments and all workshop materials – deposit necessary to secure your place.  Plus the cost for 2 nights bed and breakfast.
